2 Year Study Requirement Rule

Primary applicants must have completed a minimum of 2 years full-time study in Australia;

The study must be related to the nominated occupation;

The course(s) must be registered on the Commonwealth Registrar of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students;

The study must have been completed and resulted in the award of an Australian Diploma, Degree, Masters or PhD; or

The study must have resulted in the award of an AQF Certificate III (tradespersons only).

When assessing the 2 year study requirement rule, careful consideration must be given to information listed for courses on the CRICOS registrar as well as credits received from former study completed both overseas and in Australia. Unfortunately, applicants commonly miscalculate the 2 year study requirement and therefore we recommend that you seek a professional assessment before lodging your application.
