Balance of Family |
To meet the Balance of Family Test, the parent applicant(s) must be able to demonstrate that:

At least half of their children are able to satisfy the eligible sponsor criteria (age exception applies); or |
|
More children are permanently resident in Australia than in any other one particular country and these children also able to meet the eligible sponsor criteria (age exception applies). |

When calculating the Balance of Family Test, please note that all children are considered including natural, step and adoptive relationships as set out in the eligible sponsor criteria. |
