Although the climate in Australia is generally warm this can vary considerably depending on the region. Northern regions of Australia generally have a tropical climate, divided into wet and dry seasons. Both seasons are warm, however the rainfall expected for the wet season is considerably higher in contrast to that received in the dry season. This weather pattern is very similar to that experienced by our neighbours in the South-East Asian region.

The southern regions of Australia experience four seasons: winter, summer, autumn and spring. With the exception of winter months (May, June and July) these regions remain relatively warm. However, in winter the temperature rarely drops below 0oC, making Australia an attractive place for snow skiing holidays.
