To be eligible to sponsor the applicant, the sponsor must be:
Either an Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident, or Eligible New Zealand citizen;
Settled in Australia;
Aged 18 years or over (or have parents consent to marry);
Married or in a de-facto relationship with the applicant; or
Proposing to marry the applicant.
