Do you have a medical condition which may prevent you from passing the health requirement? Are you making an application in Australia, but are either unlawful or the holder of a Bridging visa? Has your sponsoring spouse previously sponsored a partner for an Australian visa? If so, you might be required to lodge an application for waiver.

Our Registered Migration Agents will:

  • 1. Review your case, consult relevant legislation and case law and advise you of the likelihood of success of a request for waiver of the legislation;
  • 2. Consult with relevant professionals (i.e. medical specialists, community organisations) in order to prepare a case on your behalf;
  • 3. Advise you on the preparation of documentation to support your case;
  • 4. Prepare a detailed submission outlining your reasons for requesting a waiver;
  • 5. Lodge the submission and supporting documentation with the Department of Immigration and Border Protection (DIBP);
  • 6. Record and process all correspondence from the DIBP on your behalf;
  • 7. Respond to requests for additional information from case officers and advise you if you need to provide further documenatation;
  • 8. Advise you of the outcome of your request for waiver.
